Redact in three steps
Choose your PDF
The first page shows large; go to the page you need.
Draw your boxes
Drag with the mouse or a finger over what must go. With the keyboard: add a box and move it with the arrow keys.
Redact and download
Every page with a box becomes a flat image with the boxes burnt in.

Why not just draw a black box over it?
A drawn box only covers the text. Anyone who selects or copies it can still read it. Plooi turns the page into an image, so the text under the box no longer exists.

Can I still select the text afterwards?
Not on the redacted pages: they are images. Other pages keep their text.

Where does the redacting happen?
In your own browser. The PDF and what is in it go nowhere.
